Aspirus Iron River begins construction on medical clinic: 4 things to know

Aspirus Iron River (Mich.) Hospital and Clinics broke ground Thursday on a new clinic, according to The Daily News.

Here are four things to know about the project.

1. Aspirus Iron River Clinic will be located on the hospital campus in Iron River.

2. The 24,000-square-foot, two-story clinic will offer primary and specialty care, such as geriatrics and oncology, according to the report. Physical and occupational therapy, orthopedics, women’s health and diabetes care are also among the clinic’s features.

3. The estimated cost of the clinic is $8 million.

4. Hospital officials expect the clinic to be completed next year, according to the report.
