Veradigm, American College of Cardiology to develop ambulatory chronic disease network

Veradigm, Allscripts' payer and life sciences division, will integrate its technology and analytics abilities with the American College of Cardiology's outpatient national quality improvement registry to create an ambulatory chronic disease network.

The network will serve more than 250,000 clinicians and 100 million patients in the U.S. It will provide clinicians and cardiology and diabetes patients with information related to participation in research studies, evidence-based medicine and tools as well as clinical workflow solutions.

Additionally, Veradigm's specialist and primary care provider network on Allscripts and Practice Fusion's EHR systems will incorporate the ACC's clinical guidelines and provider and patient engagement tools.
