Three notes:
1. The task order falls under the VA and Cerner’s $16 billion, 10-year contract formed in 2018 to develop and deploy a new EHR system across its care network.
2. The order will cover up to four years.
3. The VA’s Office for EHR Modernization manages the deployment and maintenance of the agency’s health information technology tools.
