Union General Hospital officials selected Cerner CommunityWorks, a cloud-based IT platform focused on the rural and community hospital market. Under the agreement, the 45-bed community hospital and its associated facilities, including nursing homes and clinics, will transition to the Cerner Millennium EHR, which provides physicians with access to patients’ clinical and financial data.
The Cerner CommunityWorks IT platform will also offer patients access to an online portal to message physicians, schedule appointments and access their health history.
