The services were transferred Aug. 19 to the same Epic EHR system used by UC San Diego Health hospitals and clinics.
“Being on the same Epic EHR system will make it easier for students to access the unparalleled resources of our region’s only academic medical center, and for our UC San Diego Health providers to ensure effective and medically necessary services to our student community at each step of their care,” said UC San Diego Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla and Patty Maysent, UC San Diego Health CEO, in an Aug. 19 notice sent to the organization’s faculty, staff and students.
UC San Diego students who use SHS or CAPS and are referred to UC San Diego Health will have access to their own student health information through the online MyStudentChart patient portal.
