Ms. McMorris Rodgers has taken a particular interest in the Oracle Cerner VA rollout, as Oracle Cerner was tried out at VA facilities in Spokane and Walla Walla, according to an April 25 news release from the congresswoman.
The news comes after the VA announced that any further deployments of Oracle Cerner were halted.
“Unfortunately, despite billions of dollars and every possible opportunity for improvement, it’s become abundantly clear that there is no coming back from the mess the Department of Veterans Affairs has made with this deeply broken system,” Ms. McMorris Rodgers said in the news release. “It’s time to pull the plug.”
