The collaboration between the two companies will provide patients with a less cumbersome payment experience, and will allow providers to process payments from their existing platform, according to a Jan. 16 press release. Providers won’t need to use another app to facilitate patient payment transactions within the Cerner Millenium workflow, which streamlines the collection process.

“This seamless workflow integration now available to Cerner Millennium customers offers the advanced, unified user experience that Cerner revenue cycle teams have needed to modernize their patient billing and collection processes,” said Clayton Bain, CEO and founder of Salucro.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
