The I-Pass Patient Safety Institute’s eView platform aims to reduce medical error and patient harm by offering transition templates that providers can use as care is handed off between specialists.

“Every year, thousands of lives are impacted by adverse events caused by communication failures,” Christopher Landrigan, MD, I-Pass co-founder and chief of general pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital, stated in an Aug. 24 company news release.

“The routine transition of knowledge shouldn’t be difficult, nor should implementing a solution that works,” added I-Pass CEO William Floyd.
