Oracle reorganizes AI, data business units as healthcare becomes CTO’s primary focus

Software giant Oracle is reorganizing its artificial intelligence and data business units under its cloud business as Executive Chair and Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison turns his primary focus toward healthcare, Insider reported Feb. 7.

The reorganization comes after Don Johnson, the former executive vice president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, left the company. 

The new reorganized business units will report to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Senior Vice President Greg Pavlik.
