Faith Regional went live on Epic on Oct. 5 through a partnership with Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine and other independent hospitals. The hospitals teamed up to purchase the EHR system in May 2018.

The health system, which comprises a 129-bed acute care facility, physician clinics and outpatient centers, chose Epic for its ability to immediately transfer medical records between facilities that share the same system.

Faith Regional patients now have access to Epic’s online patient portal MyChart, which allows patients to view test results and communicate with their providers, among other functions.
