St. Joseph, Mo.-based Mosaic Life Care went live with its new Epic EHR system, local news outlet KQ2 reported March 5.
The acute care and outpatient system is warning patients that they may experience longer wait times due to staff getting used to the new Epic system. Mosaic announced the transition from Cerner to Epic Feb. 14.
The organization is keeping read-only access to the old patient portal for six months.
