Three things to know:

1. The hospital chose to partner with Evident for the EHR vendor’s reputation of serving smaller, community hospitals, Jasper General Hospital CEO Eric Jordan said in a news release.

2. The Evident EHR has already been installed within the health system’s nursing home.

3. Evident’s parent company CSPI provides healthcare solutions and services for community hospitals and post-acute care facilities.

“One thing that was very attractive to us is that we were already using the CPSI post-acute care solution in our nursing home, which is why we felt like CPSI was the best choice,” Mr. Jordan said. “I believe it is going to be very beneficial to us to work with a company that covers the full care continuum.”
