Three things to know:
1. North Mississippi Health Services began looking for a new EHR system in 2015 and has been working with Epic for more than a year on the EHR.
2. The EHR debuted at 90 NMHS locations, including North Mississippi Medical Clinics, NMHS affiliated specialty clinics and private practices that partner with the health system.
3. With the new EHR, NMHS patients will also have access to Epic’s My Connection patient portal, which allows patients to review their medical records, make appointments and message their medical teams.
