The health system successfully conducted its first go-live readiness assessment, a crucial step in preparing for the transition to its new Epic EHR system that occurs at regular intervals beginning at 120 days before implementation, which is scheduled for May.
“It was great to have our digital, technology, operations and clinical partners all come together for an open and transparent review of progress, open items and issues,” Eric Smith, chief digital officer of the health system, wrote on LinkedIn Feb. 5.
