Ivenix announced on Oct. 23 its partnership with Latric Systems, a healthcare technology company that focuses on EHR optimization and interoperability. The companies will develop a software that allows automatic documentation of infusion pump data directly into Meditech EHR systems.
“Smart pump-EMR integration reduces manual programming steps for nurses, duplicative documentation and clinician fatigue,” said Susan Niemeier, BSN, RN, CNO at Ivenix, according to a news release emailed to Becker’s Hospital Review. “Without it, there are multiple opportunities for error, impacting care quality, outcomes, and the cost of care.”
