Meditech posts 2% revenue increase for Q3: 4 notes

Meditech reported $121.2 million in revenue for the third quarter of 2019, which ended Sept. 30.

Four notes:

1. The Westwood, Mass.-based EHR vendor’s third quarter revenue was up 2 percent from $119.1 million reported during the same time last year.

2. Meditech posted $90.8 million in net income for the quarter, up from $19.2 million in the third quarter of 2018.

3. For product revenue, Meditech reported $39 million for the third quarter, up 2.5 percent from $38 million during the same time last year.

4. The EHR vendor posted $82.2 million in service revenue, a 1.5 percent increase from $81 million in the third quarter of 2018.
