The MaaS suite includes Meditech’s Web EHR, which features web-based physician tools, interoperability solutions, clinical decision support capabilities, among others. Meditech personnel will take care of upgrades and ongoing maintenance. The company expects that critical access hospitals will be able to implement and launch the latest version of Meditech’s EHR technology within six months.
“This is an important step in driving EHR access and adoption for care organizations of all sizes,” said Meditech President and CEO Howard Messing. “Reducing the complexity and cost of procuring and maintaining an EHR will allow these hospitals to focus their resources on patient care, productivity and meeting regulations.”
