Hospitals seeking EHR talent

Four of the top vendors hospitals use to participate in the Medicare EHR incentive program are Allscripts, Cerner, Epic and Meditech, according to ONC data. Here are 14 hospitals and health systems that have posted job listings seeking EHR and IT expertise in the last month.

  1. Ellis Medicine (Schenectady, N.Y.) is seeking a clinical applications analyst. 
  2. Phoenix (Ariz.) Children's Hospital is seeking a clinical systems analyst. 

Epic

  1. Ascension (Chicago) is seeking a clinical informatics director.
  2. CHI Saint Joseph Health System (Lexington-Fayette County, Ky.) is seeking a director of clinical informatics. 
  3. Kootenai Health (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) is seeking an Epic application analyst.
  4. UPMC East (Monroeville, Pa.) is seeking a director of clinical operational informatics.

Meditech

  1. Brigham City (Utah) Community Hospital is seeking a clinical informaticist. 
  2. Cache Valley Hospital (North Logan, Utah) is seeking a clinical informaticist. 
  3. DCH Health System (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) is seeking a clinical informatics RN. 
  4. Mission Hospital (Asheville, N.C.) is seeking a consulting EHR support analyst. 

Oracle Cerner

  1. McLaren Health Care (Grand Blanc, Mich.) is seeking a senior EMR clinical systems analyst.  
  2. Mercy Healthcare (Rancho Cordova, Calif.) is seeking an electronic health record nurse. 
  3. Nebraska (​​Omaha) Methodist Health System is seeking a supervisor for health information management. 
  4. Saint Alphonsus Health System (Boise, Idaho) is seeking a lead ambulatory HIM technician.
