An Allscripts partner for eight years, the 500-bed health system’s new EHR will offer a single billing and health record system. Hendrick Health System will add various solutions to its Allscripts Sunrise EHR, including the EHR vendor’s software for ambulatory care, financial management and health information management, among others.
The health system will also add Allscripts’ FollowMyHealth application, which offers mobile access for patients to communicate with their physicians and care providers through their personal devices.
“Our partnership with Allscripts will continue to enable our care providers to harness the power of an open IT infrastructure and true interoperability to deliver the care our community deserves,” Hendrick Health System CEO Brad Holland said in a news release.
