The report surveyed 40 CIOs and chief medical information officers at U.S. health systems within the top 50 by net patient revenue and found the following about interoperability spending:
- Two percent of health IT executives said they would increase their spending by 20 percent or more in 2023.
- Forty-three percent of health IT executives said they would keep their interoperability spending the same for 2023.
