Technology companies Forward Advantage and Meditech are collaborating to launch PxMobile, an app that integrates with EHRs to deliver medical information to patients.
PxMobile is the first app to integrate with Meditech's patient portal. The app can also be paired with technologies unique to a hospital or health system, according to the Oct. 4 Forward Advantage news release.
"Patient experience is a top initiative, but many branded apps on the market fall short in terms of what patients really want," Forward Advantage CEO Chris Roggenstein said. "This collaboration with Meditech resulted in a secure platform that puts a hospital's brand at the center while integrating with the EHR to deliver the information that's important to their specific patient population."
