Former Cerner, Allscripts exec appointed to leadership role at EHR imaging firm

Mark Burgess, a former executive with Cerner and Allscripts, has been named president of the North America region for EHR imaging company Agfa HealthCare.

“He understands the value of working side by side with health systems to help them meet their goal to deliver quality patient care,” company President Nathalie McCaughley said in a Nov. 29 company news release.

Mr. Burgess was previously senior vice president of ambulatory markets for EHR vendor NextGen Healthcare and has also worked in leadership roles for Cerner and Allscripts.

The move was effective in October.
