Three things to know:

1. The partnership will allow healthcare organizations that use Epic EHRs to offer patients telehealth appointments directly within Epic’s patient portal app MyChart.

2. Healthcare providers can use TytoCare’s app to connect with patients and conduct physical assessments and telehealth visits. After the telehealth appointment, data captured by TytoCare during the exam is automatically transferred the Epic EHR.

3. Patients will also have access to TytoCare’s consumer app and examination device, which the provider can control during the visit to examine the patient and capture readings for temperature, skin images and heart and lung auscultations, among others.
