Epic added AI healthcare company Aidoc's app to its App Orchard online marketplace.
The app, dubbed aiOS, streamlines clinical workflows and provides physicians with real-time clinical information and AI insights on patient care, according to a Sept. 21 press release.
"The aiOS connects multiple service lines and helps break down data silos. With this new integration, physicians can get the complete package of clinical information they need to make the best decision on each case, empowering them to make more timely decisions and collaborate more quickly with fellow team members," said Elad Walach, co-founder and CEO of Aidoc.
Epic launched App Orchard in 2017 for users to download applications that can run on Epic's software but are developed by third parties.
