The partnership means that Epic will have access to Caris’ suite of molecular profile services, including whole genetic testing for blood and tissue samples, according to the July 7 press release. Epic will add the capabilities to its “orders and results anywhere” network to be made available later this year. The partnership will integrate test ordering and results into Epic, helping to streamline clinical workflows.
