EHR vendor NextGen exploring a sale: Report

EHR vendor NextGen Healthcare is reportedly looking at selling the company, Reuters reported Aug. 23.

According to people familiar with the matter, the vendor has hired investment bank Morgan Stanley to help advise it as it discusses with potential buyers.

Although there is no certainty that NextGen will reach a deal to sell itself, according to the sources.

NextGen has a market share of $1.2 billion, according to Reuters.
