The capability aligns eClinicalWorks with OpenNotes, a national movement dedicated to encouraging clinicians to share medical notes with their patients. Through the EHR capability, clinicians are now able to share notes with their patients via patient portal.

“eClinicalWorks remains dedicated to enhancing access to healthcare and making it more open and transparent,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “We believe that adding OpenNotes functionality will improve the healthcare experience for patients and is vital for the future of healthcare delivery.”
