Boulder Community Health currently uses two separate EHR systems, the health system confirmed May 31. “While both systems are secure and have served their purpose well, the Epic platform will improve the care experience across the entire system by providing a single, comprehensive health record for each person,” the May 31 statement reads.
As part of the transition to the Epic EHR, Boulder Community Health patients will have access to Epic’s MyChart patient portal. MyChart comprises various patient experience tools, including online scheduling, e-visits and bill pay, along with enabling patients to review documentation and lab results.
