UDSMR’s UDS-PROi system combines patient assessment and outcomes management with reimbursement. Its databases include 16 million-plus patient assessments. Cerner’s integrated rehabilitation solution, Cerner PowerChart Rehabilitation, is built on the Cerner Millennium EHR platform.
Together, Cerner and UDSMR will develop a standardized integration between the UDS-PROi and PowerChart Rehabilitation, designed for use at inpatient rehabilitation facilities. The integration will allow Cerner’s clients to transmit their Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument data and Functional Independence Measure scores directly to UDSMR without having to manually input the information.
“This collaboration is designed to deliver operational efficiencies along with cost savings by eliminating manual errors, whether uploaded or transcribed,” said Adam Laskey, vice president of long-term and post-acute care at Cerner.
