Opargo uses predictive analytics to improve scheduling practices, such as making sure health systems have enough slots available for patients needing multiple appointments at a quick turnaround. Opargo’s software also helps organize last-minute appointment cancellations and rescheduling.
“Opargo is using data and predictive analytics in new and exciting ways that are making a difference in healthcare, and Allscripts is thrilled to be part of it,” Allscripts President Rick Poulton said in a news release. “We have seen optimization work in other industries and look forward to seeing it make a huge impact with our Allscripts customer base.”
