The expansion project will increase the number of beds from 17 to 32 and will include two new rapid medical exam rooms to more efficiently treat non-life-threatening conditions.
The project will also include 18 renovated maternity suites, a GI lab, a new interventional radiology suite, a new walk-in entrance, a modified ambulance pad and a remodeled waiting area and nursing station.
The project is scheduled to be finished in 2020.
