OpenAI has added two new members to its healthcare team.

The AI company recently appointed Ashley Alexander as its new vice president of health products and Nate Gross, MD, to lead its healthcare strategy.

Dr. Gross will be responsible for strengthening collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem and ensuring OpenAI’s technologies meet healthcare needs.

Ms. Alexander will oversee building products for both individuals and providers.

“With the way technology is advancing right now, I feel for the first time my skill set has the potential to really bend the curve on healthcare quality and access,” Ms. Alexander wrote in a LinkedIn post announcing her move from Meta to OpenAI.

Business Insider first reported the announcements.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
