A Google outage on June 12 disrupted several applications, including tools used by the healthcare industry.
Affected services included Vertex AI Online Prediction, Dialogflow CX, Agent Assist and Contact Center AI, according to a notification on Google Cloud’s website. The outage lasted several hours.
The tools are used for AI-powered functions such as real-time predictions, customer service automation and virtual agent support.
“We are deeply sorry for the impact to all of our users and their customers that this service disruption/outage caused,” the company wrote on its site.
