Neuralink, a neurotechnology company founded by Elon Musk that is developing implantable brain-computer interfaces, is seeking to raise $500 million in a new round of funding, Bloomberg reported April 23.
People familiar with the matter told the publication that the company has begun early talks with potential investors. Although the details have not been finalized, Neuralink could be valued at about $9 billion after the funding round. That figure may still change, according to one source.
Neuralink did not respond to Bloomberg‘s request for comment.
