CVS Health names new chief policy officer

CVS Health has named Sam Khichi as the company’s new chief policy officer, executive vice president and general counsel.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Khichi served at medtech company Becton Dickinson. He takes over from Tom Moriarty, who will retire in April, according to a Jan. 12 CVS Health news release.

As chief policy officer, Mr. Khichi will lead the company’s legal, compliance and government affairs teams.

“Sam brings diversified experience to many key issues for CVS Health, including geopolitical matters, data privacy, and compliance,” CVS Health President and CEO Karen Lynch said. “He has an exceptional track record of managing complex healthcare business and legal strategies.
