The details of the acquisition were not disclosed; however, Bayer said it plans to close the deal later this year pending the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, according to a Jan. 18 release from Bayer.
The aim of the acquisition is to drive innovation in radiology, including the development and adoption of AI within the clinical workflow, as well as advance Bayer’s position in digital medical imaging.
