Madison, Wis.-based UW Health has become the first jersey sponsor dedicated exclusively to collegiate women’s sports through a partnership with Madison-based University of Wisconsin.

The six-hospital system’s logo will appear on uniforms worn by the Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball, hockey, softball and volleyball teams starting with the 2026-2027 season.

“We all remember the iconic uniforms of our favorite players, and seeing them takes us right back to the place in time when we watched a historic goal or shot,” UW Health Chief Marketing Officer Chris Roth said in an April 2 news release. “By supporting UW female athletes in this way, we show our support for these inspirational athletes when they make these emotional moments with their teammates and fans.”

UW Health was named the Badgers women’s official title sponsor in September, making the health system’s brand visible at games and across the teams’ social media and digital marketing while featuring athletes in UW Health marketing content.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
