Dallas-based UT Southwestern Medical Center has extended its collaboration with the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks to include more branding elements.

The health system has been the team’s official healthcare partner since 2019, and the UT Southwestern logo will now appear on the front shoulder of the Mavericks’ pregame shooting shirts and on prominent signage throughout American Airlines Center, according to an Oct. 21 news release. UT Southwestern providers will also now serve as official team physicians.

In addition, the expanded partnership will comprise health and wellness programs, game day theme nights, and game ball delivery from patients in UT Southwestern’s Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center’s support groups.
