St. Jude livestream event surpasses $13M goal

Memphis, Tenn.-based St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’s fifth annual Build Against Cancer livestream with YouTube video game content creator DrLupo reached its cumulative goal of $13 million raised with more than $1 million raised at this year’s livestream.

The 24-hour Dec. 17 livestream event had 6,000 viewers from around the world tuning in, according to a Dec. 19 St. Jude news release.

By passing the $13 million goal, DrLupo is the single largest fundraiser for St. Jude among gamers.
