Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health won two awards for its website and content produced for Sanford Fit, the health system's children's health initiative.
Sanford Fit, a program that provides free online educational materials for children about important health topics, was recognized by the Fall 2022 Digital Health Awards. The program took the number one spot in the Web-based Digital Health: Website category with a Gold distinction, according to a Jan. 3 press release from Sanford.
The program also earned a Silver distinction in the Digital Health Media/Publications: Video category for its mediation video dubbed "Relax with Dakota: A Mindful Meditation for Kids."
This is the second year in a row the Sanford Fit program has been honored.
The Digital Health Awards recognizes the world's best digital health resources for consumers and health professionals.
