The Anaheim Ducks, a professional ice hockey team, are hosting a week of fundraising events to support pediatric care, with proceeds benefiting the CHOC Foundation, now part of Rady Children’s Health.
The initiative, known as CHOCO Week, runs through March 22 and highlights the Ducks’ 19-year partnership with Rady Children’s Health, based in San Diego and Orange, Calif. The effort aims to raise awareness and funds for pediatric healthcare services, according to a March 18 news release.
The week includes several fan-focused events and fundraising opportunities, including in-game activations, auctions and merchandise sales tied to the Ducks’ games and community gatherings.
A key fundraiser tied to the event is the sale of limited-edition CHOCO Bears, autographed stuffed animals, with proceeds supporting Rady Children’s Health. Additional fundraising will take place through an online auction featuring team memorabilia and experiences.
All proceeds from the week’s events will support pediatric healthcare programs and services through the CHOC Foundation.
