North Dakota health system names new marketing chief

Minot, N.D.-based Trinity Health has named a new marketing chief after its former leader retired after 28 years.

Pam Hopkins was named vice president of marketing of communications, succeeding Randy Schawn, who is retiring.

Ms. Hopkins previously served as executive director of marketing for Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health and vice president of marketing for Bismarck, N.D.-based Medcenter One.

Among Mr. Schawn’s accomplishments at Trinity Health were rebrands in 1999 and 2018, Trinity’s centennial celebration, and promoting various service lines, according to a June 16 news release. He had spent the last 20 years as vice president.
