Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minn., has adopted a new name: Fairview Grand Itasca. The organization announced the change to reflect its longstanding partnership with Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services and its sister facility, Fairview Range, in Hibbing, Minn.
The rebrand will roll out over the coming months, with updated signage, digital platforms and patient communications introduced across the organization. Patient appointments, medical records, insurance coverage and current services will not be affected.
“This new name represents more than a change in signage, it reflects the strength of our continued partnership with Fairview and our shared vision for the future of healthcare,” said Jean MacDonell, president and CEO of Fairview Grand Itasca, in a September news release. The rebrand is meant to reflect a shared commitment to expanding access to care across the communities the Fairview network serves.
Cassi Chrzanowski, regional marketing and communications manager for Fairview Grand Itasca and Fairview Range, said the new name is meant to better communicate the organization’s identity and its collaborative ties to Fairview. “Our refreshed identity honors our history while highlighting the partnership that is helping to shape our future,” Ms. Chrzanowski stated.
Grand Itasca has operated as an integrated clinic and hospital for just over 20 years and remains part of the broader Fairview Health Services network.
