Kansas health system rebrands

KVS Hospitals, a group of nonprofit children’s mental health hospitals and residential treatment centers in Kansas, has changed its name to Camber Children’s Mental Health.

The name change comes as the hospitals and treatment centers continue to expand their mental health services throughout the state of Kansas, according to an Aug. 23 press release shared with Becker’s.

“We all need connection — that’s been our guiding philosophy for three decades as KVC Hospitals, and it will continue to guide us forward as Camber Children’s Mental Health,” said Bobby Eklofe, president of Camber Children’s Mental Health. “In fact, we chose Camber because it means bridge or arch, representing our commitment to making meaningful connections with every child, teen, family and community we serve.”

Camber Children’s Mental Health will remain a private, nonprofit organization that is part of the KVC Health Systems network.
