How 1 company aims to enhance physician security

Online networking service Doximity unveiled a new free service named DocDefender, which is designed to eliminate a physician’s private phone numbers and addresses from publicly accessible websites.

The technology automatically scans websites where a physician’s information could be found and triggers a removal procedure, according to a Nov. 1 news release from Doximity.

Physicians can then monitor the progress of removals via DocDefender interface.
