Cleveland Clinic therapy dogs to em-‘bark’ on international trip

Two members of Cleveland Clinic’s care team — Kid and Trotter, high-trained therapy golden retrievers — will soon be making appearances at its facilities in Florida, Canada, London and Abu Dhabi. Or, at least, stuffed animal replicas of the two will.

Their world tour is part of a marketing campaign the system has launched called #PawsForJoy. It aims to highlight the work the therapy animals contribute to the system and its pediatric patients, while also drawing attention to other progress happening at Cleveland Clinic locations around the world, according to the Dec. 1 news release.

Every day in December, Cleveland Clinic will post about the #PawsForJoy journey on Instagram.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
