Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CHI Memorial is now CommonSpirit Health as its Tennessee and Georgia hospitals unveil new signage.
The health system said in November it would take on the branding to better align with its Chicago-based parent organization.
“This rebranding is really the last step of integrating into CommonSpirit,” market COO James Williams said at a ceremony in Chattanooga covered Jan. 22 by WDEF. “CHI and Dignity Health merged in 2019, and while we’ve been part of CommonSpirit since then, the pandemic delayed fully unifying the brand. We’re proud to be the first market in the South to embrace the CommonSpirit name.”
The new monikers are rolling out in January at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital Chattanooga and CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital Hixson (Tenn.) to coincide with the opening of the new CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia in Ringgold.
