Knoxville, Tenn.-based Cherokee Health Systems has officially changed its name to River Valley Health.
The rebrand reflects the organization’s evolution from a small mental health clinic in Morristown, Tenn., to a regional healthcare provider offering integrated services. According to a June 24 news release, River Valley Health now serves 70,000 patients annually across 20 clinics in 12 counties, along with two mobile units and telehealth capabilities.
“Under the guidance of our Board of Directors, we’ve engaged employees, patients, and community partners in a thorough, year-long process to create a refreshed identity that mirrors who we are today and supports our vision for serving our communities in the years to come,” Parinda Khatri, PhD, CEO of River Valley Health, said in the release.
