Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center’s hospitals are updating their signage as they take on their parent system’s name.

The facilities are rebranding as Vandalia Health, a 17-hospital system formed in 2022 through the merger of CAMC and Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mon Health. Elkins, W.Va.-based Davis Health System later joined Vandalia, which is headquartered in Charleston.

The updates will start at CAMC’s Charleston hospitals, with the entire process expected to take several months, according to a Jan. 19 press release shared with Becker’s. Ambulatory clinics and patient handout materials will also reflect the Vandalia brand.

Davis Medical Center in Elkins has already adopted the Vandalia name, with Mon Health expected to follow in the coming months.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
