Athenahealth names new chief marketing officer

Healthcare technology company Athenahealth has named Stacy Simpson as chief marketing officer.

In this role, Ms. Simpson will oversee the company’s marketing, brand, communications, research and editorial strategy functions, according to a Sept. 20 press release. 

Prior to her role at Athenahealth, Ms. Simpson served as chief marketing officer and global head of corporate responsibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion at global professional services firm Genpact.
